Welcome to Valley, home to one of the largest and most respected ranges of sea kayaks in the world.  In an industry where many are quick to claim unsubstantiated  “first’s” we can legitimately claim we were there at the start of the modern incarnation of the sea kayak. Our first true sea kayak, The Anas Acuta, was developed in 1971 and is still in production today.

Through the years our love and respect for the sea has dictated everything that our company has done. Our designs have evolved with the sport, leading to kayaks like the Nordkapp, the first designed specifically for a major expedition and the Skerry, the first true sea kayak moulded in polyethylene. Our focus hasn’t just been limited to the performance of our hulls, we have sought ways to make the sport safer and more enjoyable, developing features such as watertight rubber hatches, retractable skegs, safety end toggles and recessed deck fixings.

Thirty-five years on, our enthusiasm is as keen as ever and because the sport is always evolving so is our range. Recent highlights include the Aquanaut RM, a polyethylene version of our most popular composite model and the Anas Acuta HV which is a higher volume, key-hole cockpit version of that evergreen Greenland model. Finally our most radical new sea kayak, is a model developed for ocean racing and the growing number of paddlers seeking a fast fitness sea kayak.  More about this later!
