Contemporary Range

Contemporary Models: These kayaks represent our most up to date thinking on sea kayak design. These thoughts encompass the feedback from today’s prominent paddlers and instructors.  Although featuring some fine-tuning of the hull profiles much of the development on these most recent models has centred on improving usability and comfort for the paddler. Bows now feature slightly more volume and flaring towards the gunwale to ensure a dryer ride through chop and swell. Cockpits are keyhole shaped to allow easy access and quick exits. Within the cockpit area knee height and seat ergonomics have also been improved.  The benefits of these developments to the padder is the need to spend less time custom outfitting the kayak to get comfortable, the ability to spend more time in the kayak whilst on a trip and feeling fresher at the end of a day on the water.
